Plim Plim Live: From Teatro Broadway in Buenos Aires to California

Natalia Rosminati, voice of Plim Plim

From the jungle to the heart of Calle Corrientes! Watching 'Safari Musical' arrive at Teatro Broadway — one of the most iconic theaters in Buenos Aires — and living it from the audience was an enormous emotion. A theater full of families singing, dancing and knowing every single song.

After so many years giving my voice to Plim Plim, seeing that universe come alive on a stage like that, with my family beside me, with music, color and so much energy, had a very special meaning. And what can I say about the cast: incredible actors carrying every scene with talent and so much love, and an enormous team working behind the curtain — choreographers, producers, musicalizers, directors — so that every show has its magic.

And the most beautiful part: this universe keeps crossing borders. Plim Plim's live shows are also reaching the United States, bringing our Latin culture — which is unique, and enormous — to new audiences. A character born in Argentina 15 years ago, today the most listened-to children's content in Spanish in the world, now filling theaters from Buenos Aires to California.

In January 2026 this journey brought me my third Voice Arts Award, precisely for voicing Plim Plim. The voice connects us — and when it jumps from the screen to a stage full of kids singing, it shines in all its forms.

You can see a bit of that night on my Instagram.

Live children's theater also taught me something the booth never could: kids are the most honest audience in the world. On stage there is no second take — the song either lands or it doesn't. Bringing a beloved animated character's voice into live musical theater means matching the energy of dancers and actors in real time, protecting the voice through double-show days, and keeping every 'Plim Plim' exactly as kids know it from the series. That discipline travels back with me into every recording session for kids' content.
